International Leadership of Texas is Hiring a Clerk (Bilingual) Near Cleveland, TX

Primary Purpose:

Support Area campuses with all LPAC processes to ensure that all campuses meet state and federal compliance. Verify and maintain all LPAC documentation at the area level.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

High School Diploma or GED Associate’s Degree preferred

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Bilingual: English and Spanish

Uses computer, printer, copier, scanner

Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, Zoom, Email

Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Must be highly organized & detail-oriented.

Experience:

Related experience preferred.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

LPAC Compliance

1. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal law governing Emergent Bilingual students for all campuses in the area.

2. Be familiar with all LPAC processes to verify and organize LPAC documentation at area level.

3. Verify and review PEIMS coding in Skyward on a regular basis for all area campuses.

4. Follow required processes according to the LPAC Manual for identification, placement, and review of all students in the Bilingual/ESL programs within PEIMS and district timelines.

5. Perform LPAC documentation audits for all campuses within the area to ensure 100% compliance with LPAC documentation

6. Attend mandatory staff development activities as needed to perform job functions and to improve performance.

7. Attend regularly scheduled meetings with other campus LPAC clerks for training and networking purposes.

8. Collaborate with EL Coordinators and campus LPAC team to ensure accurate coding of Bilingual/ ESL students.

9. Assist campus LPAC administrator with all LPAC documentation needed for EB students.

10. Be familiar with the instructional accommodation’s checklist for EB students and generate completion reports.

11. Monitor & update NSOE reports for each campus and review TREX information to ensure EB/EP students are identified & coded in a timely manner.

12. Support campuses with any EL/EP code changes as needed.

13. Use Project ELL for all LPAC documentation and reports of all Emergent Bilingual students participating in the program.

14. Be familiar with all platforms, Project ELL and Skyward, where information of EB students is kept to ensure compliance with LPAC documentation.

LAS & IOWA Testing

15. Be familiar with LAS and IOWA testing to provide support to campus as needed.

16. Administer the LAS and IOWA tests when needed.

17. Collaborate with campus LPAC Administrator and campus LAS/IOWA testers to ensure accurate student data for all decision-making processes.

Other

18. Attend mandatory meetings and staff development activities as needed to perform job functions and to improve performance.

19. Maintain a professional level of confidentiality concerning personnel and students.

20. Travel to campuses within the area when needed.

21. Follow charter safety protocols and emergency procedures.

22. All other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
